At a Glance: The world’s fastest growing sports company is seeking a Footwear Coordinator to execute innovation development in our product creation facility in Vietnam. This person will be responsible for driving sampling and coordinating the high level tracking of our Innovation Projects. In addition, this person will work and support closely with our footwear innovation developers, working directly with the broader product teams and factory counterparts to create high-quality prototypes and samples. Your Team: On’s Innovation team is responsible for On’s future innovation, out-of-the-box thinking and the outstanding athlete-informed technology that differentiates On footwear from all other footwear products in the market. Your Mission: Coordinate and support Innovation Footwear Developers from kick-off to inline transfer following all stages of prototyping, sampling, testing, and costing, in a way that transfers conceptual innovation to production and sourcing. Create the sampling flow and tracking with high demand of sample and quality. Provide clear communication between development teams and suppliers Ability to work independently on sampling and testing projects with suppliers and coordinate with them to steer development process Frequent travel to factories & suppliers around HCMC, travel to north Vietnam. Your Story: At least 1 years’ experience in footwear, performance footwear experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant field preferred Demonstrated the knowledge in traditional footwear manufacturing processes – injecting, cutting, sewing, welding, machining, laser cutting, construction, prototyping. Understanding of pattern and shoe construction with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement Excellent communication skills and comfort adapting communication style between cross-functional partners at all levels System’s thinking is a plus Ability to work independently under a deadline. Exemplify a high tolerance for ambiguity and solution-focused attitude
