This fixed-term post is funded through the British Association of Dermatologists and will sit within NHS Tayside Innovation, supporting the establishment and coordination of the UK Dermatology AI National Skin Consortium—a cross-sector partnership driving the development and adoption of AI in the diagnosis and care of skin disease.
The consortium brings together clinicians, academics, technologists, and industry partners to develop high-performing, inclusive, and cost-effective AI tools. It will build a nationally significant real-world dermatology dataset and shape the UK’s approach to AI adoption across skin health pathways.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the ability to find solutions to problems through initiative, creativity and determination.
  • Has the ability to positively engage with, communicate and influence people from different sectors and levels of seniority.

  • Possesses excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the consortium, supporting national governance and delivery structures, tracking project milestones, and facilitating collaboration across sectors. You will contribute to strategic planning, communications, data pipeline development, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with NHS, academic and industry teams.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile national project at the forefront of digital health and dermatology innovation.
High levels of communication, organisation, and project management skills are essential to perform this role effectively.
You will be based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee but must be able to travel within Tayside and occasionally across the UK.
