To strengthen our team in the area of Global Engineering, we are looking for a GE Innovative Technologies Development Director (m/f/d) in permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing concepts and strategies for innovations for the entire JTI, planning and deploy projects, coordinating implementation, supporting installations, and leading project start-ups
  • Leading the identification, evaluation, and implementation of emerging technologies that can transform supply chain operations and enhance consumer experience
  • Collaborating within GSC and CPC to align technology initiatives with the company’s strategic goals, ensuring that technological advancements support business growth and operational efficiency
  • Driving initiatives that enhance the sustainability and efficiency of the supply chain, reducing costs, improving speed, and minimizing environmental impact
  • Working with research institutes and industry associations to identify and assess technology vendors, develop use cases, and create deployment strategies for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identifying potential risks associated with new technologies and developing strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Owning at least one of IWS IM standard work processes (SWP), regularly monitoring IM Phase progress and adherence in factories as well as collaborating within the Global IM team to deploy IM in GSC and other functions such as GI&I and R&D
