INPD Instructor Job Responsibilities: The RN will support our Clin Tech Academy. Some examples of assistance needed could include: Assists with educational programs to maintain and improve staff competence in support of Inova Health System's goals and strategic initiatives. Assists with programs to orient staff to patient care standards, performance standards, and procedures. Assists with classroom training to support entry programs for staff. Support the implementation of educational programs that support retention of staff. May perform other duties as assigned. This is an evolving role and the expectation is to provide positive ongoing support to our Clinical Technician Academy while role modeling Inova’s values. Hours: PRN; Monday-Friday (typical office hours); at least 1 shift per week Location: INPD (Fairview) located in Falls Church, VA Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing Experience: 2 years of progressive experience in nursing in designated specialty Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state RN License. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant teaching experience in a clinical setting or a school of nursing.
