Description
iNOVaTHERM Operators/Engineer required for project in Angola. The project will involve the Offshore Thermal treatment of oil-based drilled cuttings and successful candidates will require previous experience of similar Thermal and Waste Management operations. Primarily an Offshore based role but with opportunity for additional work at our Luanda Workshop when required. RESPONSIBILITIES: KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): * Ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot thermal treatment / processing equipment for oil-based drilling applications to a high standard. * Ability to investigate Mechanical & Electrical issues or improvements for best practices. * Complete periodical reports on the operations for both internal and external purposes. * Report usage of materials at the work site through the relevant reports. * Actively participate in personal trainings as identified by NOV or Client. * Ensure company HSE procedures are being adhered to. * Help to promote a safety-first culture. * Coordinate the daily operation of all equipment in line with operational guidelines.  * Maintain equipment according to service schedules and make repairs as required during operations. * Adheres to all safety guidelines and maintain a safe standard of work, Able to perform and participate in risk assessments ensuring they are current and up to date. * Working to strict environmental guidelines and performing critical testing & analysis.            QA/QC ACCOUNTABILITY: * Ensure equipment is repaired and maintained as per NOV maintenance schedule stated in the equipment manual and optimize equipment performance to ensure customer satisfaction * Ensure detailed maintenance records of all equipment are compiled as requested by direct supervisor through the provided documentation formats and return this documentation at the end of each shift to your supervisor. * Address any equipment performance concerns to your direct supervisor as soon as safe to do so. * Ensure Job Sheets are correctly maintained while working on equipment to ensure proper documentation. PERSONAL COMPETENCIES / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Proven experience working with Mechanical and/or Hydraulic Equipment or Machinery, or Previous experience in Thermal Treatment / TDU/ iNOVaTHERM operations is essential. * Technical qualification preferred (Mechanical / Electrical etc.)/(Knowledge of HMI / PLC Controlled Systems would be advantageous (desirable). * Wider knowledge of Thermal & Waste Management process is beneficial. * Ability to clearly communicate with all personnel onsite and with the client in English. * Successful candidates must be competent with computer software – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel etc. * Successful candidate must be a team player with a proactive approach to the tasks at hand.
