Location: Pinderfields Hospital, Aberford Rd, Wakefield, WF1 4DG
Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7, 37.5hrs/week. 06:30-14:30 & 11:00-19:00 Shifts
Pay: £12.08-£22.10/hr
NHS Professionals require two pro-active and hardworking Catering Assistants to work within the catering department at Pinderfields Hospital.
We have two ongoing placement opportunities available for Catering Assistants at Pinderfields Hospital. Catering Assistants are responsible for assisting in the food production processes in NHS hospitals and other services making sure our patients and staff have highly nutritious, high-quality food.

YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in a similar role
• Food Safety L2 OR Food Hygiene Certificate (Mandatory)
• Food hygiene knowledge
• A good understanding of spoken and written English

• Candidates will work as part of the catering team which plates up all the patients’ meals
• Washing the returning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery.
• Any general cleaning that is needed.
