Description

This position is a Med/Surg position, working varied 12-hour shifts for 36 hours per week and a every other weekend rotation. The applicant may be cross-trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units. This position is under the direction and supervision of the Director of In-Patient Services. Qualifications: * Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio * BSN preferred * Current BLS Certification required * Previous Med/Surg experience preferred * Critical care experience preferred Skill and Ability: * Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices * Physically able to perform the functions of the position * ACLS certification required within 6 months to one year of hire * Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned * Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation course required within one year of hire * Chemo/PICC lines experience preferred but not required * All other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, working 12-hour shifts with a weekend rotation. The role includes the potential to float to other departments within the facility under the direction of the Director of In-Patient Services.
