Description
The Inpatient Director assumes responsibility and accountability for the day to day operations of the Inpatient Unit through clinical and administrative oversight of all direct care staff. The Inpatient Director is responsible to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies including CARF, CMS, DMHA, Indiana Board of Health, OSHA and all other regulatory organizations as applicable to the Center and specific to the inpatient unit. The Inpatient Director assumes responsibility of the budget and requirements to achieve productivity standards, remain within budgeted expenses and maintain oversight of departmental budget. Education:                    From an accredited program by the National League of Nursing, a Master’s degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing (MSN).  Experience:                  Two (2) years' supervised nursing experience in a mental health setting required and 2 years’ supervisory experience in a matrix environment is preferred.    Licenses:                      A MSN or higher   Shift: First shift, full time: 8-5 pm Monday- Friday, with some floor coverage as needed.   Salary based on experience.
