Summary: The Inpatient Facility Nursing Assistant is responsible for personal care and related services following a plan of care established by clinical supervision. Essential Job Functions are: 1. Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers that will meet their expectations. Displays a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided by the agency in all contact with staff, patients, and visitors. 2. Administers personal care and hygiene by following established care plan. 3. Completes document via computer system each shift. Checks all outstanding tasks and completes prior to end shift. Use the time clock consistently; and submits other data to supervisor as requested on a timely basis. 4. Completes housekeeping tasks to include tidying bedroom, mopping floor, cleaning the patient's bathroom, shower, toilet, and sink as needed. Change patient's bed linens and performs other tasks as needed or assigned. Requirements for Hospice Nursing Assistant: 1. Listed as a CNA with DHSR, as evidence by successfully completed training & has not had a lapse of 24 consecutive months where the aide has not provided services for compensation. 2. Current CPR certification. 3. Ability to read and write. 4. Must be dependable and capable of dealing pleasantly and tactfully with patients, family, staff, and the public. 5. Possess valid North Carolina Driver's License and available means of transportation. 3HC is an equal opportunity employer.
