Job Description Compass Government Solutions is seeking qualified Inpatient Pharmacy Technicians to support daily pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. This role focuses on prescription processing, patient interaction, and ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications. Work Schedule/Shift Information Duty hours are variable Typical shift start times fall within: 0630–0930 1200–1500 1800–1900 Shifts are typically 8.5 hours in duration Work schedules may vary based on mission requirements JOB DUTIES: Perform a full range of pharmacy technician duties in a hospital/inpatient setting Prepare and distribute medications, including unit dose, ward stock, and IV admixtures (including chemotherapy) Support medication distribution systems across patient care areas Maintain crash carts and ensure readiness of emergency medications Manage inventory, stock levels, and medication storage Operate, restock, and troubleshoot automated dispensing equipment Perform quality assurance tasks, including inspections and expired medication management Qualifications Work Authorization Must be a U.S. Citizen Education Graduate of: An ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program, OR A formal pharmacy technician training program (technical, hospital, or retail-based), OR A U.S. Military medical services training program Certification Active certification required: PTCB (PTCE) OR NHA (ExCPT) Experience Minimum 1 year of experience within the last 2 years as a pharmacy technician after graduation Additional Information Benefits: At Compass Government Solutions, we value our team and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth: Competitive Salary – Recognizing your skills and experience.
