We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic mental health care team. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for patients in an inpatient setting. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, compassionate psychiatric care to individuals in acute need.
This position is full-time, with shifts typically scheduled beginning at 8:00am Monday through Friday, along with one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) coverage.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP certification required).
• Minimum of one year of inpatient psychiatric experience.
• Proven experience in providing psychiatric care, including medication management and therapy, in an inpatient setting.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for medical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and support patients effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices and crisis intervention techniques is preferred.
