ESSENTIAL TASKS: * Inspect material, mark defects and flaws for grinding and remove defects with hand grinder if required. * Weighs, band, mark, stamp, tag and identify material after re-grinding. * Check dimensions and surface quality to meet customers’ requirements. * Ensure compliance with established grinding techniques. * Detect and report defective material and improper operations and unusual condition to proper supervision. * Comply with prescribed safety regulations and keep area clean. NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS: * Perform other duties as required or directed by work leader or supervisor. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or GED * Required to pass In-dept vision screening * Requires the use of some judgement to inspect and mark defects. * Be able to read and follow written procedures.
