QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Outside sales experience with strong consultative sales skills is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty/medium duty truck parts is preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and good listening skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
  • Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and outside sales.
  • Meet monthly parts sales objectives and stay aligned with the company’s business goals.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct face to face or via telephone scheduled meetings with potential customers.
  • Deliver parts to customers in accordance with purchases and company policies.
  • Prepare detailed invoices and customer statements.
  • Must record lost sales to maximize the MDI program and reduce obsolescence.
  • Able to follow directs from supervisor.
  • Work closely with inside parts sales team and support personnel to develop strategies and share knowledge regarding customers and products.
  • Assist in inventory cycle counts
  • Maintain store cleanliness.
  • Assist in maintaining the by monitoring the market.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
  • Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to the Parts Manager.
  • Must be able to operate a fork Lift
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs on your own.
  • Able to understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
  • Keep up with latest industry developments by attending meetings, training, and workshops.
