Description
About Company: Quality Enclosures, Inc. was founded on January 3, 1990, by Manny Schwartz and his son, Michael Schwartz.  Manny began manufacturing shower doors in the 1960s at North American Enclosures, Inc., a company he and his brother owned. The company flourished within the shower door industry and soon decided to expand into the aluminum picture frame business.  In 1982, with North American’s interests lying primarily in picture frames, Manny left the company to start his own business, Executive Enclosures, Inc., which quickly became a leader in the shower door industry. With the great boom of the Reagan years and a tremendous amount of hard work, the business was a great success. Manny developed a plan for his success: to understand the customers’ needs and work hard to satisfy them.  In 1988, with the company achieving great heights, the business was sold, and Manny and his family retired to Sarasota, FL. Things did not go as planned and at the end of 1989, Manny was forced to return to New York to save the company he started. Michael decided to leave college to work with his father and help him save the company. Manny and Michael started this venture together and a new name was chosen: Quality Enclosures, Inc.  In March of 1991, a sister company to Quality Enclosures was born. Manny and his other son, Steven Schwartz, founded Sarasota Shower Door Company, Inc. (d/b/a Quality Enclosures of Florida). The company started without any customer base or history in the area. It has grown tremendously since. Quality Enclosures, Inc. is a proud and respected name across the east coast of the United States.  Both regions/companies work together to strengthen their position in the industry. Quality Enclosures, Inc. has grown consistently. We manufacture many different product lines in various colors and types. In addition, Quality Enclosures opened its own tempering facility in Ronkonkoma, New York in 2012 to vertically integrate and expand its offerings in the tempered glass market. The Quality Enclosures’ team continues to reinforce its commitment to the two most important parts of our business: our customers and our colleagues.
