JOB SUMMARY
Hours of Operation: Monday thru Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
The Inside Sales Associate position develops, maintains and interacts primarily utilizing e mail and the phone along with other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers within the HVAC-R markets to increase sales of products and/or services. Develops sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to achieve increased sales and profitability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-year experience with Microsoft Outlook or platform using email and calendar
- 3 years’ experience working in CSR or equivalent experience in the HVAC-R or relative industry
- A Current and Valid Driver’s License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- 3-5 years of paid experience working as a CSR in the HVAC industry
- 5 or more years in a customer service-related role providing customer service via through customer facing, phone, and/or internet means
- 5 years applying HVAC-R product knowledge in a customer service position
- Associates Degree or Higher
- 1 or more years proven experience proactive selling above customer’s initial request
Work Environment: This position works in a collaborative office setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and filing cabinets. The team member is expected to work with other Inside Sales representatives directly to maximize efforts and role performance.

Responsibilities:
- Identifies revenue opportunities within customers’ communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
- Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s established trading partners.
- Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
- Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
- Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers’ communities.
- Works closely with Support, Inside sales manager, Sales Director and Marketing Director.
- Must work and thrive in a team environment
- Responds to requests from customers for information and follows up promptly.
- Engages in technical discussions with potential clients and does the research to get client satisfaction
- Match programs to customer requirements, and close contracts for defined programs.
- Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure and e-commerce industries.
- Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
- Contact accounts through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
- Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
