Description Responsibilities · Sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries, providing technical and application information, soliciting customer orders and suggesting additional products in a fast multi-tasking environment. · Maintains responsibility of orders from quote to invoice. · Select and specify a variety of products utilizing a variety of vendors. · Process customers’ orders and send requested order acknowledgements. · Review customer purchase orders for special conditions/documentations. · Check availability and verify ship date. · Increase order size by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checking customer’s buying history. · Process and expedite orders, customer returns and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner. · Works closely with outside salesman in soliciting business, executing order transactions and maintaining superior customer service levels. · Locate product and ensure timely delivery, works closely with buyers. · Ability to communicate with vendors and monitor orders placed. · Communicates effectively and participates positively as a member of the inside sales team. · Review open customer order report and take action on open items in a timely manner; specifically, those items that may at risk in not meeting the customer’s promised delivery date. · Work with and manage customer needs over virtual chats. · Willingness to be flexible, including working overtime, and performing responsibilities not specifically identified in the job description and assuming new responsibilities for the betterment of Austin Hose. Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications · Associate degree in related field preferred · 1-3+ years’ experience in Customer Service and Inside Sales preferred. · Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with Austin Hose warehouse and delivery methods, techniques, and procedures. · Microsoft Team experience preferred · Strong verbal, written, mathematical and interpersonal skills. · Ability to maintain a good working relationship with customers, co-workers, supervisors, management and various personnel. · Must be able to pass random drug test.

Responsibilities

The Inside Sales role involves selling company products and services, processing orders, and maintaining customer relationships. Responsibilities also include managing orders from quote to invoice and collaborating with outside sales personnel.
