We are looking for a motivated candidate to join us in the Inside Sales Business Development role. You are responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers through outbound outreach. This includes calling through targeted customer lists, following up on inquiries, and initiating contact with new prospects. The primary focus is to generate and nurture leads, schedule appointments, and pass qualified opportunities to the outside sales team. This role plays a key part in fueling growth for the Company Wrench sales team.
LEAD GENERATION & QUALIFICATION
Initiate outbound contact with prospects via phone, email, and other digital channels
Qualify leads by identifying customer needs, timeline, budget, and decision-making authority
Record all lead interactions and statuses in our CRM and ensure timely follow-up
Schedule appointments or demos for the appropriate outside sales representative
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1+ years of inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Experience in the construction equipment or related industry is a plus
SPECIFIC SKILL REQUISITES
Ability to work closely with territory sales reps, customer service, and marketing teams
Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication tools
Strong ability to multitask and manage time effectively
