Job Description
Responsible for delivering great intentional customer experiences including producing timely and accurate quotes for both standard and customized solutions, pro-actively engaging with customers to secure and process orders and working closely with the sales team. Also managing a range of other customer queries, ensuring customer satisfaction by collaborating with other departments and pro-actively addressing any issues.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in relevant/similar role
  • Strong Customer Service experience
  • Desirable
  • Degree, qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of flow control industry or similar
  • Experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional levels of customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Accurately produce sales quotations, supporting documents, technical proposals, and any other required customer information to meet customer service KPIs.
  • Manage and maintain key customer relationships, including internal and external stakeholders taking accountability for the customer relationship where applicable.
  • Support and follow standard and efficient processes that deliver the quality of customer service required at speed
  • Use approved Rotork price lists to provide customers with accurate quotations and lead times.
  • Progress and follow-up outstanding orders and quotations within agreed timescales and report accordingly.
  • Ensure the integrity of any data input and maintains records as required.
  • Maximise opportunities for new business with existing customers (through opportunities for value selling).
  • Respond professionally and accurately to all other customer queries within agreed timescales.
  • Use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
  • Manage customer orders within the company’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, including processing changes and addressing any customer enquiries.
  • Liaise and negotiate with both customers, internal departments and Factory regarding order fulfilment or special requirements.
  • Work with the Quality department to resolve and investigate customer quality complaints, ensuring customer expectations are managed through to resolution.
