Description

Inside Sales Coordinator
We’re looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator to be at the heart of our sales operations, a critical connector between our customers, production teams, logistics, and business development leads. This is a full-time, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll gain exposure to everything from quoting and order processing to customer success and CRM management, with plenty of room to grow.
You’ll report directly to Sales and Business Development leadership and play a key part in ensuring our customers get what they need, when they need it, with accuracy, speed, and care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end process for customer purchase orders: order entry, confirmations, invoicing, and tracking using tools like OpenText/Covisint, SAP Ariba, Rocket Software, and internal CRM systems.
  • Keep orders moving smoothly by partnering with logistics and production teams to meet shipping deadlines.
  • Monitor order status, flag issues early, and communicate updates clearly, both internally and with customers.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time sales data and customer information in our CRM.
  • Be a reliable point of contact for customer questions and updates, responding with professionalism and urgency.
  • Support Business Development in prepping quotes, tracking backorders, and managing returns.
  • Work side-by-side with Account Managers and Sales Leadership to drive customer satisfaction and help execute growth strategies.
  • Pitch in with general administrative tasks to help the team run smoothly. We all roll up our sleeves here.

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, or customer service.
  • Experience working with CRM tools and customer portals to manage sales orders and communication is preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing or a fast-paced, technology-driven industry is a major plus.

**Bonus if you…

**

  • Communicate clearly and confidently, in writing, on the phone, and face-to-face.
  • Are detail-obsessed and organized, but flexible enough to pivot when needed.
  • Have a “how can I help?” mindset when it comes to customers and teammates.
  • Are naturally curious and enjoy solving problems.
  • Know your way around Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office tools.
  • Want to build meaningful experience on a sales and operations team where you’re more than just a cog in the machine.

The team is based in Wixom, MI. The role is 100% onsite.
