The Inside Sales Coordinator, Canada, will be responsible for coordinating and executing back-office sales and pricing tasks to support the development and growth of the organization’s book of business. This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer – Canada. The Inside Sales Coordinator will be an essential part of the Canadian Commercial and Pricing Teams and will be responsible for working with the sea organization to provide our internal and external customers with pricing for sea export and import shipments.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high volume customer service/logistics environment
  • Preferred, not required: Experience with CRM system like Microsoft Dynamix or Salesforce.com preferred

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for providing coordination, administrative and pricing support to the growth of the organization’s book of business for Hellmann Wordwide Logistics.
  • Works with the commercial and operational teams to develop customer-specific collateral or content, including coordinating case studies, assisting with event management, and tracking the results of customer-targeted campaigns.
  • Analyze leads and assign to appropriate sales resources based on instructions from the Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Executes pricing for assigned transactional spot and multilane quotations for transactional customers based on standard quotation templates for both import and export seafreight cargo.
  • Obtains pricing levels from sources as instructed by the product team.
  • Executes pricing for network requests for routed transactional business opportunities
  • Assist seafreight product manager in ensuring current/correct service, transit time, and rate validity are correctly specified in pricing tool(s).
  • Validates adherence to standard pricing instructions given by country product management
  • Assembles and publishes selling quote to customer or overseas office in standardized format
  • Follow-up on quotes and provide KPI analysis on win ratio to management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
