Description Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/ Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3300 employees strong, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Inside Sales Coordinator– Tank Container for our Tank Department in our Houston, TX office. What You’ll Do: Generates new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner. Determines customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Recommends alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications. Presents price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles. Obtains accurate vendor cost information and maintains cost tariffs as basis for customer quotations. Processes customer quote requests accurately and timely. Recommends items needed by customers proactively to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. Increases sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items. Contacts customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint. Fills requests for catalogs, information or samples. Remains current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor meetings and reading trade journals. Sets up and maintains customer files / information in CRM program. Identifies trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Manages time effectively, meets personal goals and works effectively with other members of the Sales and Operations team. Maintains proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software. Follows company policies and procedures. Requirements Job Requirements: Must have minimum 2 years of experience in ISO Tank Container in the Freight Forwarding industry. Must possess excellent organizational skills Must possess the ability in problem-solving and experience in managing customer complaints Must have the ability multi-task and to deal with dynamic problems and variables.
