Main Responsibilities:
· Answer customer inquiries for quote requests and process orders in a timely manner
· Answer and direct all incoming calls
· Forward emails to appropriate people from general email address
· Process web orders
· Provide order confirmation and status updates for backordered items
· Process credit card payments
· Basic troubleshooting to assist customers in determining if a replacement part is required
· Process customer quotes and orders and issue customer order confirmations
· Requisition items for purchase in order to maintain stock levels and fill backorders
· Monitor and maintain inventory levels
· Process and issue purchase orders
· Pick and verify orders for shipper / receiver
· Assist in various duties in the office with regards to administration or shipping / receiving
Skills & Requirements:
· Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Excellent interpersonal and client service skills and ability to communicate professionally with employees and customers/vendors
· Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
· Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to daily demands
· Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
· Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel along with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Previous experience as Customer Service in an industrial office environment an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
