Description Euro USA has been a wholesaler and distributor of specialty foods and seafood for 39 years and is known for providing high-quality food and customer service. We are looking for an energetic individual who has a passion for food and great customer service to join our team as we continue to grow. Position Summary The Customer Service Representative supports the sales of Euro USA products and solutions in support of company goals and quotas. This is a full-time, onsite position. Duties and Responsibilities Provide quality customer service to Euro USA internal and external customers in all assigned tasks Order entry Accounts Receivable collections-review as entering orders and inform office manager and sales associates of any customers close to over terms Work closely with the internal team members and external Sales teams Respond to customer service email orders and request promptly and professionally Communicate “out of stocks” to customers and offer solutions promptly Review all emailed orders and VM each morning for accuracy and offer solutions Follow up on special orders for customers Review and have up to date fresh Seafood inventory knowledge Attend all sales meetings, as requested Provide weekly or daily updates re: customer’s needs , outside sales associates’ requests and assistance, as needed. Communicate any low stock or additional needs to maintain inventory to purchasing. Requirements Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Familiarity with ERP systems (AS400) Must possess the organizational skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Accurate order entry skills Excellent verbal, written and telephone skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to learn and retain product specific information for all Euro USA products Ability to manipulate and manage spreadsheets Required Education & Experience Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years in customer service position Experience in the food distribution industry is a plus, but not required Benefits Medical, dental, vision Company provided basic life insurance Supplemental life insurance 401(k) Retirement with company match Paid holidays Sick time Vacation Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
