Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative to help us continue Lind Equipment’s rapid growth.
This role is responsible for providing high value, high impact assistance to Lind’s customers throughout the entire buying process (needs assessment, product choice, pricing, after-sales service, warranty). Working from Lind’s headquarters, he/she will interact with customers on a daily basis to increase Lind’s selling success rate, promote Lind’s brand values, and increase loyalty to Lind products. This role will set the standard for how Lind serves its customers, which is a key part of the company’s strategy and its success to date.
You do not need experience in electrical equipment or LED lighting to join us. We provide comprehensive training for all new employees. What you do need is a great attitude, ability to learn, and a desire to make an impact at a fast-growing, innovative company.
NOTE: This is an in-office role 4 days a week with 1 day a week work-from-home.

Duties

  • Represent Lind on incoming customer inquiries
  • Answer incoming inquiries via company’s general email, customer service phone line, and fax
  • Provide prompt, informed, and value-added service to all customers
  • Assist customers with first-line product inquiries
  • Use knowledge of products to suggest appropriate item for the customer’s application
  • Triage technical questions to the Product Manager, when applicable
  • Communicate key features, advantages, and benefits of Lind products
  • Vis-à-vis Lind’s competitors’ products (e.g. be able to cross-reference products, know Lind’s competitive advantages)
  • Actively sell Lind’s products as a key member of the Lind salesforce
  • Provide accurate pricing and availability information
  • Enter orders into ERP system
  • Be familiar with active special pricing quotes.
  • Provide new quotes to customers, working with the VP Sales and Marketing for large opportunities
  • Work with the Purchaser to have ready access to information about back-ordered products
  • Follow-up sales with after-sales support
  • Assist customers with freight tracking and expediting
  • Provide warranty assistance when required, interacting with the Production Manager to provide information on repairs to customers

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
  • Education and/or experience related to sales and customer service is a plus
  • French language skills are a plus
