Description

At The Moorings and Sunsail, we plan and deliver fantastic yacht charters across the world. We have an abiding passion for sailing, taking yachting holidays to the next level across the most spectacular destinations worldwide which keep our customers coming back again and again!
The secret to our success within the yacht industry lies in our exceptional teams. We are united by the same purpose, to have fun while creating extraordinary experiences on the water!
We’re searching for a proven VP of Sales with the experience, drive, and ambition to take full ownership of the sales strategy for our Yachts business. Reporting directly to the President of Yachts, you’ll lead an international sales team of c.50 people across multiple centres, setting the pace, raising performance, and delivering ambitious revenue and margin growth targets.
This is a high-impact role where your leadership will directly build the commercial success of the division. With deep B2C/D2C sales expertise in high-value, and consultative environments, you’ll demonstrate the ability to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead from the front – own the global sales plan, creating clear annual, quarterly, and monthly targets that translate into consistent revenue and margin delivery.
  • Build a world-class sales culture – inspire, coach, and drive a team of sales managers and advisers across multiple international sites, ensuring a steadfast focus on performance, consultative selling, and customer experience.
  • Take control of the sales journey – ensure every interaction is high-touch, customer-focused, and closes with impact on high-ticket, complex sales.
  • Develop commercial outcomes – partner with Commercial and Finance to set competitive pricing strategies, drive promotions, and maximise profitability.
  • Operate globally, act locally – work closely with regional leaders and support functions (Marketing, Operations, Product) to unlock new growth opportunities and streamline execution.
  • Raise the bar – build capability, set clear expectations, celebrate wins, and take decisive action to deliver results.
