Description

We are looking for Inside Sales to add to our Genoa Sales Team

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Schedule, research and prepare material for Outside Sales for customer meetings/ZIM Compass
  • Prepare quotations (request rates from other ZIM departments/agencies as needed).
  • Enter updated customers data from Outside Sales and other sources into ZRM system.
  • Forward client complaints/correctors and follow-up the resolution of these.
  • Solve ad-hoc customers’ problems.
  • “Forward telephone and email inquiries in standard subjects to customer service center or other

departments within ZIM.”

  • Track customer performance of the accounts portfolio.
  • Update account plans/profiles according to Outside Sales input.
  • Undergo the required training according to the training program.
  • Populate KPI template for Outside Sales on a weekly basis to enable performance tracking.
  • Ensure data accuracy of ZRM or other related systems for cargo shipped by controlled customers.

Requirements:

Professional and personal skills

  • Completed apprenticeship in shipping or forwarding
  • Outgoing personality
  • Geographical knowledge
  • Teamplayer
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work in an open-plan office
  • Languages: English (Scale 1 – 7)*: 5
  • MS Office: word, excel (Scale 1 – 7)*: 4

Special and dangerous cargo would be apreciated
