Description With a customer-centric mindset, the Inside Sales Manager will lead and manage a team to achieve revenue growth and expanding market share by proactively reaching out to potential customers, nurturing leads, and assisting the field sales team to close sales opportunities. This role works closely with cross-functional teams and requires strong communication skills as well as sales acumen to deliver a seamless customer experience. Requirements Primary Role Responsibilities Leading, motivating, and managing the inside sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base. Monitoring and analyzing sales metrics to ensure the team’s performance aligns with company goals. Conducting regular training sessions and providing coaching to improve sales techniques and product knowledge. Ensuring effective communication and collaborating with marketing, product, and outside sales teams to align sales efforts with business goals. Managing the sales pipeline, overseeing the qualification, follow-up, and closing opportunities. Handling complex customer inquiries and negotiations, offering guidance to the team when needed. Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and other lead generation activities. Conduct research to understand customer needs, pain points, and purchasing behaviors. Desired Work Experience, Qualifications, & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field 3-5 years of experience as an Inside Sales Manager or similar leadership role within a sales team. Strong understanding of inside sales techniques, lead generation, and closing strategies. Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Possess technical aptitude in one or more areas of: machine control, safety, operator interface, panel design, automated guided vehicles Experience in B2B sales, preferably in technical or engineering-focused industries. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce). Familiarity with relevant software applications and tools, such as CAD software and technical documentation. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements. Being adaptable also means possessing soft skills like interpersonal, communication, creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Collaboration – Ability to work with others to achieve a common goal; Building and maintaining relationships through shared responsibility, respect, and empathy. Additional Requirements May need to be available outside normal working hours should issues arise. Must pass a security background check and drug screening. Travel: Limited.
