About the Role: We are seeking a high-impact Inside Sales Manager to lead our newly established South Region Inside Sales Team, supporting Houston, Ft. Worth, Alabama, and Georgia. This is a key leadership opportunity to shape regional sales strategy, build and develop a high-performing team, and drive meaningful growth across the South Region. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager. This role requires the candidate to reside within the South Region at one of the four sites to support travel and on-site leadership across Houston, Ft. Worth, Alabama, and Georgia. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve revenue, margin, and volume goals. Support execution of sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market conditions. Drive proactive selling through prospecting, cross-selling, contract growth, and opportunity conversion. Analyze sales activity, customer trends, and pipeline data to identify growth opportunities and risks. Partner with Outside Sales and Sales Leadership to strengthen account coverage and sales execution. Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure reliable fulfillment, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction. Balance customer service expectations with pricing strategy and margin discipline. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Support hiring, onboarding, and succession planning for inside sales talent within the region. What Makes You a Strong Fit: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years of sales experience in metals distribution, industrial sales, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office (Excel required). Proven ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining disciplined margin management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills. Willingness to travel 50+ percent throughout the South Region.
