Job Summary: We are seeking a competent and experienced Inside Sales Leader to join our dynamic sales team. This role serves as the direct manager for territory managers (inside sales representatives) with a primary focus of goal achievement the implementation and adherence of standard operating procedures, reducing order entry errors, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will drive team performance through effective coaching and teaching, while also taking ownership of documenting and improving internal procedures to ensure operational efficiency and consistency. Key Responsibilities: Team Management and Development: Directly supervise and mentor a team of territory managers and inside sales professionals, providing guidance to optimize their performance. Conduct regular coaching sessions to address skill gaps, foster professional growth, and promote best practices in sales techniques. Teach and train the team on key processes, including accurate order entry, customer interaction protocols, and error-prevention strategies. Performance Improvement Initiatives: Identify root causes of order entry errors through data analysis and team feedback, implementing targeted solutions to minimize inaccuracies. Lead efforts to elevate customer experience by developing strategies that enhance satisfaction, retention, and loyalty, such as streamlined communication and personalized service approaches. Track team metrics and measurables related to error rates, customer feedback scores, and sales efficiency, using insights to drive continuous improvement. Process Documentation and Optimization: Document all existing sales procedures, ensuring they are clear, comprehensive, and accessible to the team. Regularly review and refine procedures to eliminate inefficiencies, incorporate industry best practices, and adapt to evolving business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, customer service) to align procedures with company goals and compliance standards. Reporting and Collaboration: Prepare and present reports on team performance, error reduction progress, and customer experience enhancements to senior leadership. Work closely with other departments to integrate sales processes with broader organizational systems. Foster a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Requirements Qualifications: Experience: Proven track record as a sales manager or leader in an inside sales environment, with at least 5+ years of relevant experience Demonstrated success in managing teams, reducing operational errors, and improving customer satisfaction metrics. Experience in documenting and optimizing business procedures, ideally in a sales or customer-facing context. Skills: Strong coaching and teaching abilities, with a passion for developing high-performing teams. Excellent analytical skills to identify issues in order entry and customer processes. Superior communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership and cross-departmental collaboration. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on results-oriented problem-solving. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
