PACE Supply’s San Carlos, California branch is thriving and growing, and we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as an Inside Salesperson. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a successful and dynamic team, and to play a key role in driving the continued growth and success of the branch. As an inside salesperson, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities. Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and organization skills, ability to work in a cohesive environment, previous related experience.
  • Handle customer phone calls and walk in customers along with email orders.
  • Highly motivated, able to meet deadlines and customer service oriented with ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and data entry skills required and proficient in Outlook.
  • Client follow up, organizational skills, and communication.
    Work Environment:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. Warehouse, plumbing, and/or forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Outside Sales associates by determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
  • Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations/submittals and accurate sales orders.
  • Coordinate deliveries with the warehouse and answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
  • Complete administrative duties after each sale, keeping track of products sold carefully.
  • Account management.
