Description

CDC Computers, a leading provider of computer sales, repairs, and IT services in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by engaging with customers via phone, email, and online channels, promoting our extensive product lineup from brands like Acer, Dell, HP, and Microsoft. You’ll handle inbound inquiries, upsell services such as custom PC builds and data recovery, and nurture leads to close sales. This position is ideal for a sales professional passionate about technology who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. Full-time position located at our store on 620 King Edward Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Competitive base salary plus uncapped performance bonuses.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the technology or retail sector, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and handle objections effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and basic knowledge of computer hardware/software.
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a Winnipeg-based office environment.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly via phone, email, and live chat, providing detailed product recommendations tailored to their needs, such as rugged hardware for Manitoba’s harsh winters or scalable IT solutions for small businesses.
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach, including follow-ups on website inquiries and promotional campaigns.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets by closing deals on products like laptops, desktops, accessories, and services, including hardware repairs and software installations.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, tracking customer interactions, sales pipelines, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless delivery of sold services, such as PC assembly or virus removal.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product launches, and competitor offerings to provide informed consultations.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales strategies and product knowledge.
  • Assist with in-store demonstrations and events to boost walk-in traffic.
