Adecco is currently seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative for a remote 6-month contract based in Toronto, ON. This full-time role offers $42.56/hour and is ideal for new graduates or those with up to 2 years of sales or customer service experience. You will be responsible for generating leads, managing the sales process, and building strong customer relationships to drive business growth.

  • Pay rate: $42.56/hour.
  • Location: Remote (Must be in the Toronto area)
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Job type: 6-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential customers through cold calling, email campaigns, in-person and social media outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  • Make 50+ outbound sales calls daily, delivering persuasive sales pitches and presentations to generate interest in products and services.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through closing, ensuring smooth handover to customer success teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, achieving monthly and quarterly quotas.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • New graduate or up to 2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, cold calling, or related fields
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with technology and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Groove)
  • Ability to adapt and multitask in a fast-changing environment
  • Cold sales experience is a plus and can enhance your performance in outbound calls
  • Experience selling technical products can be beneficial but is not mandatory
  • Customer service experience is helpful to understand client needs and improve relationship building
  • Experience or internship in a startup environment indicates adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Having a valid driver’s license is an advantage if in-person meetings are required
