JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of two years of customer service/sales experience, preferrable within the flooring industry
  • Minimum of two years’ experience taking inbound calls and processing orders
  • Post-secondary education preferred. Work experience will be considered in lieu of post-secondary education.
  • Proficient with computer data entry, windows, use of websites and apps
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to build relationship and loyalty with customers
  • Organized and detail orientated
  • Strong time management skills
  • An internal drive to succeed

    Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm greeting to customers as they enter the building
  • Answer incoming calls in a prompt professional manner
  • Process email and fax communications in a professional and timely fashion
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate A&D rep or Sales Rep for further development and closure
  • Accurately enter sales orders into the computer system
  • Provide quotes and follow up on those quotes
  • Deal with customer complaints and issues in a prompt, friendly and professional manner, bringing the issue to the appropriate decision maker to rectify the issue.
  • Clear instruction to customers picking up product on where to go and the process, so as to efficiently connect the customer with the warehouse staff.
  • Keep workspace, showroom and display areas clean and free of clutter and dust.
  • Handles cash transaction and giving back correct change
  • Taking payments on accounts
  • Filing paperwork
  • Taking deposit to the bank
  • Other duties as required
