REQUIREMENTS:

  • A desire to learn and continue to grow.
  • A post secondary education in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical products such as: relays, timers, PLCs, light curtains, push buttons, breakers and panels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to and process incoming calls, orders, and inquiries.
  • Open and manage new customer accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, including alternatives and up-sell opportunities.
  • Work closely with vendors, customers, and the warehouse team to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, the Projects Group, and the Technical Team to deliver premier customer service.
  • Source non-stocked items and provide accurate pricing quotations.
  • Manage direct purchasing, credits/debits, and returns as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to freight, expediting, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order entry and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and new products.
  • Assist with inventory management, shipping/receiving, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Support overflow of sales calls and provide backup to team members as needed.
