In the Inside Sales/Customer Service position the individual will spend the first 1-2 months acquiring the requisite product knowledge and skills in the plant to transition to an Inside Sales Representative position. Essential Functions * Initially to spend the first 1-2 months in our plant working and learning the products. * Transition to the Inside Sales/Customer Service and become familiar with customers, products, pricing and our high-quality Customer Service strategy. * Must be proficient in applying industrial and hydraulic hose knowledge to customer applications. * Must be willing to learn on continual basis as position requires constant update of product knowledge. * Work in coordination with Outside Sales to service specific customers, assist with special projects and telemarketing. * Provide 100% of your attention to providing exceptional customer service to each customer daily. * Performs other duties as assigned. Education: Minimum H.S. diploma, ideal 1-2 years of community college, technical school, 4-year university or military service. Experience: 2 years of Inside Sales / Customer Service Skills & Abilities: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position. * Need to be self-reliant and self-motivating. * Has the ability to multi-task and manage multiple customer situations simultaneously * The individual possesses excellent oral and written skills and feels comfortable communicating with all levels of personnel from the shop floor to senior management. * The sales person works with a visible sense of urgency.
