Description The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing and supporting existing assigned customers as well as the pursuit of new customers, leading to the successful achievement of company sales goals. Responsibilities include looking after existing customers, generating new sales with small and medium sized new accounts, providing excellent customer service, interfacing with various internal departments in support of our customers and with the outside sales team, when necessary, and utilizing CRM (Salesforce). Core Competencies: • Strategic Customer Management • Goal Setting • Team Player • Stakeholder engagement (external and internal) • Utilizing CRM • Execution and Accountability • Communication • Ethics and Integrity • Excellent phone communication skills Job Duties: • Managing current book of business / customers • Cold Calling of prospects generated by external sources of leads • Identify decision makers within the targeted leads to begin the sales process • Conduct follow-up phone calls and e-mails to existing customers to identify cross selling opportunities and share of wallet sales opportunities. • Field inbound, unsolicited lead prospect calls and convert them into sales or route the lead to the proper outside sales team member. • Enter customer data and update any changes into CRM (Salesforce) • Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues • Work with the Sales Manager to determine the necessary strategic sales approach • Plan and organize the day to meet the organizational objectives outlined by the Sales Manager • Maximize both current and long term sales and corresponding gross profits • Constantly update yourself on product knowledge and training opportunities Requirements Minimum of two years prior inside sales experience preferred Minimum of one year experience in Customer Service Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to learn client based CRM system (Salesforce) as well as other customer focused applications. Ability to interpret trends and analyze data Knowledge of fuels and lubricants industries a plus
