Our Inside Sales Team help facilitate profitability and customer growth, selling our freight services to businesses around the UK. Getting your “foot in the door” of a potential high-value customer isn’t easy, however you will have the reputation of one of the world’s leading freight forwarders behind you.
Monday to Friday – 9 am-5.30pm – Manchester M17
Office based initially with the opportunity for hybrid working on completion of training period.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Supporting the business development team, you’ll focus on creating business opportunities, nurturing leads, and driving sales, primarily for our Air and Ocean freight forwarding services. Activity will include:

  • Generating prospective customers and lead qualification using reporting mechanisms, HMRC, LinkedIn, Net Promoter Score, market research and Postcode searches
  • Warm and cold calling
  • Management of all leads and opportunities using Salesforce
  • Support and drive site sales campaigns

Goal orientated with a “hunter” mentality and background in freight forwarding, logistics or courier sectors is essential. With B2B experience in a similar inside sales or customer facing role you’ll:

  • Be tenacious and goal orientated with the ability to exceed targets and KPI’s
  • Be able to build productive relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Possess effective time and activity management skills
  • Be familiar with systems such as Salesforce, trade databases, HMRC (trade), LinkedIn and other social media, Excel
  • Be eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship now or in the futur
