We are currently seeking an Insides Sales Representative who has a passion for managing and growing customer accounts by providing exceptional service, building strong relationships, and identifying sales opportunities.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and is responsible for coordinating quotes, processing orders, and ensuring timely communication throughout the sales cycle. The Inside Sales Representative works closely with Engineering, Production, Shipping, and Finance to deliver accurate quotes, maintain order accuracy, and support on-time delivery.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive in following up with customers, and committed to providing a positive customer experience. This role also plays an important part in maintaining sales records and contributing to weekly production meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years in related activities.
  • Post secondary education,
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Internet software.
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Concise and clear written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, etc.
  • Quote preparations c/w workup’s from Engineering, issued in a timely fashion. Quotes supported with relevant documentation.
  • Follow up on quotes, proposals, order confirmations
  • Order processing including PO accuracy, Sales Order completion based on Quote/PO, issuance of PO acknowledgements
  • Production Schedule update based on new orders
  • Monitor order status and communicate delivery timelines with customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Production, Shipping, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Proactively build relationships with new and existing customers to support sales growth.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings.
