ABOUT THE JOB

Inland Industrial Supply Ltd. is a wholesale distributor of industrial tools, equipment and safety supplies. We are searching for a motivated professional to join our inside sales team from the main office in Edmonton. This role is essential in maintaining our success and building for the future. The successful candidate is responsible for driving new growth, securing new business, and retaining existing business by providing exceptional service to our customers.

JOBS SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

· Applicants must be willing to work onsite at Edmonton, Alberta
· Minimum of two (2) years selling into Commercial Constructions accounts
· Minimum of two (2) years industry knowledge and experience with welding, safety, and construction consumables
· Industry related sales experience required
· Background in hand and power tools, concrete tools, metal working tools, lifting, and rigging knowledge

ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

· Excellent communications skills with strong phone presence
· Exceptional customer service skills and sales acumen
· Good organizational skills and decision making
· Willingness to learn the business process and new software programs

Responsibilities

· Provide customer satisfaction by establishing rapport and proactively following up
· Provide technical information and preparing quotations
· Ability to understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities
· Keep updated on industry products and services
· Manage customer sales quotes, sales orders, production orders and service returns
· Work closely with the outside sales team on customer orders, needs and concerns
