Overview
In this role you will be proactively supporting an established outside sales territory, developing your own sales funnel and customer base from lead generation such as cold calling and existing house account development.
You will work collaboratively with outside sales director and internal colleagues to identify, defend and secure opportunities and grow Les Hall Filter mix margin, whilst providing exceptional customer service to reduce customer churn and positively represent the LHF brand as the leader in filtration in Western Canada
Duties & Responsibilities: Inside Sales
· Act as single point of contact for a selected group of customers within a designated sales territory, taking ownership of all quotation, conversion and margin attainment in collaboration or on instruction from outside sales director and direct customer inquiry, ensuring accuracy on stock level, lead time and product suitability to meet customer demand.
· Develop strategic relationships with customers, identify and leverage the customers business requirements, goals, growth strategies and deliver an appropriate pricing or service proposition.
· To actively prospect and grow inside territory by identifying potential customers, conducting market research, and reaching out to prospects via phone, email, and other communication channels.
· Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, update sales activities, and maintain accurate sales records and reports.
· Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings to effectively communicate product differentiators and value propositions to customers.
· Continuously enhance product knowledge through self-study, attending product training, and staying informed about industry advancements.
· Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams regarding customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence to support product development and marketing strategies.
· Collaborate with the customer service team to address any post-sales issues, resolve customer complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
· Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, including revenue goals and customer acquisition/retention metrics.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of LHF products and services, including USP and market differentiators
· Communicate customer-related information, opportunities and customer complaints to Sales Directors, Customer Service Manager and LHF Leadership.
