Description

As a key member of our customer service and sales support team, you will be the vital link between Mersen and its customers. You’ll ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication throughout pre- and post-sales processes, aligning customer needs with internal teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, etc.) to deliver best-in-class solutions.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers during pre and post sales activities.
  • Provide accurate, consistent and timely information to customers.
  • Understand and qualify customers’ explicit and implicit expectations.
  • Create value when connecting internal unit/company resources and customers: (engineering, quality, supply chain, etc.).

_ Main Accountabilities:_

  • Coordinates communication between clients, and/or subsidiaries and the site (delays, complaints, payment reminders, etc.)
  • Writes, prepares, sends price offers according to the rules in force and ensures that they are re-launched if necessary.
  • Participates in contract reviews and applies the quotation process.
  • Creates new accounts and maintains data for existing ones.
  • Provides the necessary elements for reporting
  • Knows incoterms and shipment regulations.
  • Enter and track the customer orders.
  • Submits order acknowledgments within the defined timeline.
  • Maintain the customers’ price list where applicable.
  • Participate in special company projects as defined by management.

Requested Knowledge, Competencies and Abilities:

  • Education Qualification: Associate degree / Bachelor’s or Equivalent degree
  • Experience: 2-4 years’ customer service/Inside Sales.
  • Languages Required: Bilingual - Proficient in Spanish and English language.
  • Customer focus: Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services, to make an adapted offer to their needs, acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust, respect and satisfaction to reinforce the partnership for business purposes.
  • Products/technologies/service knowledge: Understands and addresses products, technologies and services to offer the best technical solution matching the customer expectations/needs.
  • Salesmanship: Understand the steps and technics of the different sales processes (acquisition, developing and maintaining) from preparation to discovery, argumentation and closing.
  • IT tools and applications: Masters the IT tools and applications used in his/her area.
  • Reporting: Able to issue timely, accurate and complete reports and analyses in accordance with business processes.
  • Relationship building: Identifies key decision-makers and develops relationships accordingly, with a strong commitment to customer needs.
  • Efficient communication: Writes and presents effectively, adjusts to fit the audience and the message, strongly gets a message across.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
