The opportunity…
Reporting to our Sales Manager – you are an Inside Salesperson that is responsible for generating sales by soliciting and obtaining orders, fulfilling product quotations and bid proposals taking into consideration the technical engineering requirements for the usage/application of the product. You have demonstrated communication skills (both verbal and written) to provide technical sales support from assessment through product recommendation and implementation. You work co-operatively and are a supportive team player, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing work priorities. Ideally, you are comfortable working with drawings, computerized mathematical calculations, and using engineering software.
The ideal candidate will have technical credentials in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil areas. Ideally, you will have a background and experience with heavy duty general industrial pump systems, or other industries such as chemical pump systems. You have the ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams and have knowledge of commercial pump systems.
