This role owns assigned accounts, develops strategic relationships, identifies expansion opportunities, and executes disciplined pipeline management to achieve defined revenue and margin objectives. The ISR is accountable for measurable outcomes, including quote-to-order conversion, responsiveness, account expansion, and customer satisfaction. Success requires initiative, urgency, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. The ISR serves as a subject matter expert for assigned accounts and may coach and mentor other ISRs as directed by the Director of Sales Operations. The role also requires cross-training on additional accounts to ensure continuity of support and coverage. As a key liaison between Sales, Quality, and Operations, the ISR ensures compliance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and TEVET’s Quality Management System (QMS). The ISR proactively resolves issues, protects customer relationships, and safeguards revenue. Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Own the quote-to-order process for assigned accounts, including creation, revision control, and proactive follow-up to drive conversion and meet margin expectations. · Conduct consultative discovery to uncover requirements, clarify specifications, and deliver solution-oriented recommendations that strengthen customer relationships. · Manage high-quality customer and supplier communication (email, phone, and portals) regarding pricing, availability, documentation, technical requirements, and order status with a bias for speed and accuracy. · Partner with Account Managers to negotiate pricing, delivery, and commercial terms; independently execute negotiations when delegated and appropriate. · Ensure strict compliance with customer quality clauses, flow-down requirements, and contractual obligations on RFQs and POs, escalating risks early and documenting resolutions. · Drive issue resolution across Sales, Quality, and Operations (terms and conditions, lead time, quality requirements, invoicing, discrepancies) to protect customer satisfaction and revenue; contribute to continuous improvement in policies and procedures for assigned accounts. · Support team performance through cross-coverage and continuity planning; provide backup coverage for Account Managers and ISRs and contribute to process improvement initiatives as assigned. · Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education / Experience · Bachelor’s Degree, currently pursuing Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. · 3+ years of direct customer service or sales experience. · 5+ years of applicable experience/training in customer service and/or sales, and experience with government contracts, FARS/DFARS is preferred. Abilities / Skills · Professional verbal and written business communication skills in English. · Business math calculation skills, including applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry. · Ability to successfully manage tight deadlines, multiple activities, programs, and priorities simultaneously. Fundamental expectations are to complete responsibilities efficiently without sacrificing quality, time management, and prioritization of customer’s needs. · Ability to use resources at hand to navigate grey areas of decision making. · Knowledge of business-to-business procurement and/or contracting requirements for the direct Government and/or Prime Contractors. · Understanding of basic accounting terminology. · Three plus years of experience using CRMs or similar software. Equipment Proficiency · 3+ years of professional experience in a Windows based computing environment utilizing local, network, and cloud-based software, storage, and password managers. Intermediate to advanced skills conducting Internet searches using currently popular browser applications. · Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word in a professional setting at the intermediate level. · Proficiency converting documents to and from Adobe PDF format. Experience using chat and video-conferencing software. · Experience using CRMs in day-to-day activities.
