Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) drives revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and brand excellence from our Pacheco headquarters. This role manages walk-in traffic, inbound digital leads, and Salesforce pipeline activity, ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally, promptly, and with Total’s Service First standard. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects the essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Lead & Opportunity Management Serve as the first point of contact for all inbound calls, emails, and walk-in traffic at the Pacheco branch. Manage and qualify leads from JCB.com, TotalJCB.com, digital advertising, and showroom visits. Record, track, and manage all opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring accurate deal stages and contact information. Follow up with prospects promptly to ensure high conversion and consistent customer communication. Coordinate product demos, deliveries, and field rep hand-offs for qualified opportunities. Sales & Customer Engagement Conduct needs assessments and match customers to appropriate JCB equipment and financing options. Generate and send quotes, proposals, and financing packages using Quote Express (PNC). Support sales of new and used equipment, attachments, warranties and service plans. Build and maintain customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up. Perform hands on sales demonstrations of equipment for customer presentations. Operational & Marketing Support Maintain the showroom environment, ensuring current brochures, pricing sheets, and inventory displays. Collaborate with the Marketing Department to support promotions, digital campaigns, and customer events. Capture customer testimonials, delivery photos, and equipment videos for marketing use. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Required High School Diploma. 2+ years of experience in a combination of inside sales, telemarketing, and/or customer service. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM for lead tracking, quoting, and follow-up. Must be comfortable with cold calling and working to meet established sales objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. Excellent judgment, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organization skills. Ability to operate and drive demo vehicles. Ability to load vehicles onto a pick-up truck and deliver to a customer or branch. Demonstrated ability to act in a way that is consistent with our values. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite. Qualified DMV record, drug screen, and background check. Desired College Degree. Experience in B2B sales, service or rental. PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT: Position operates in a professional office environment with the requirement to visit and walk around a warehouse with fluctuating temperatures. Operation of foot controls or repetitive foot movement required for driving equipment including forklift and heavy construction equipment. Spend most days seated at a desk, working at a computer terminal to input data, handle phone calls, and exchange electronic messages. Use the computer as a telephone, messenger, and work tool, so expect to wear a headset and use both a keyboard and mouse frequently throughout the day. Regularly sit, stand, and walk for long and short distances. Hear with or without correction to be able to interpret and receive information and directions. Communicate, verbally and in written form, regularly to describe and explain detailed, important, and accurate instructions internally and directly with customers. Occasionally lift and/or move material up to 25 lbs. Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Noise level is usually moderate.
