Join Velocity Electronics as our next Inside Sales Representative in Singapore. We are seeking a competitive, ambitious, and motivated individual to join our growing team. The Inside Sales Representative will generate business through proactive engagement with current and potential customers, with the aim of developing a portfolio of active accounts and delivering exceptional results. You will be responsible for: Cultivating and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with sales prospects Selling to a portfolio of key accounts Assisting in the implementation of global sales and purchasing strategies Understanding prospects’ business needs and individual goals Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails to build a strong pipeline In addition, you will: Manage and facilitate your own individual trading activities Ensure customer requirements are accurately entered into Velocity’s ERP system Deliver on monthly outbound phone activity targets Qualify valid business opportunities Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly gross profit sales targets Represent and communicate Velocity’s culture, values, and value proposition Provide prompt and reliable solutions to customer needs Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, contracts, and quotations within the ERP system What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role? Our ideal candidate is: Creative and entrepreneurial Results-driven and goal-oriented Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient Highly organized, with strong time management and multitasking abilities Confident with a strong phone presence Comfortable with high-volume call and email prospecting An excellent communicator with strong verbal, presentation, and written skills Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Diploma holders with relevant experience will also be considered Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the electronics components industry is required Proven experience in sourcing, product knowledge, account management, and CRM systems is preferred Experience working with complex ERP systems is required This position will be located in our Singapore Office, APAC Regional Headquarters.
