Victory Stone is excited to add a new sales representative to their team
With locations in Charlottetown PEI and our new location just opening for the Halifax market, this position is a stepping stone into a growing organization that has further career opportunities and growth within the position.
Victory Stone is adding this position to continue its growth in the field of custom fabricated stone countertops for the residential, commercial and multi-unit building sectors.
This position requires individual interaction with customers, developing relationships and knowledge of products sold. This position is full-time, year round with possibility of advancement. Training will be provided.

SKILLS:

  • Must be Detail orientated, quick learner, and show proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a front facing people person with ability to converse directly with clients in person, over the phone and email and know when which level of communication is best
  • Strong computer literacy skills in a wide variety of applications
  • Ability to retain and build product knowledge in fast paced work environment
  • Strong desire for meeting and exceeding client expectations
  • Distinguish customers wants and needs and find stone products that best meet their requirements

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in sales, min 2 years, preferably in a high paced sales role
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Experience with CRM tools is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and personal growth

Responsibilities

INDIVIDUAL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TWO MAIN AREAS: SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Present and sell company products/services to current & potential clients within the home improvement, cabinet makers, kitchen & bath dealers, builders & developers
  • Assist customers by providing information, pricing, recommending options and catering a solution to their individual needs.
  • Conduct sales activities to generate new leads and close deals
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and appearance and be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage customer information, follow up with clients to assist them in the process to close more deals
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis
  • Participate in company events with lunch and learns, product demonstrations, new product launches etc
  • Participate in company trade shows, home shows etc
  • Provide overall support to senior management, sales and fabrication teams as required
