Inside Sales - Security Solutions We’re looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Inside Sales Representative to join our NSW team, based from our Waterloo security branch location. If you’re motivated by proactive sales, enjoy a varied role, and have a genuine interest in both technology and product solutions, this role is made for you.   Why This Role Matters As a key customer contact, you’ll support sales growth by proactively engaging customers, driving sales programs, partnering with Outside Sales teams, and providing product solutions that deliver a seamless buying experience. Your ability to build and strengthen customer relationships will increase account engagement, support long‑term customer loyalty and drive revenue growth.   What You’ll Do * Account Management: Build and long‑term customer relationships while growing account activity and identifying new opportunities. * Proactive Sales: Drive sales growth through outbound customer engagement and opportunity identification. * Collaboration: Partner with Outside Sales, vendors, product managers, and customer service teams across the sales lifecycle. * Quoting: Prepare and follow up on quotes, support project registrations, and negotiate pricing to protect margin. * Product & Solution Selling: Deliver product recommendations and solution‑based advice aligned to customer needs. * Order Management Support: Support complex orders to ensure accurate processing and documentation * Sales Program Execution: Promote and support internal and vendor‑led sales programs and campaigns * Order Management Support: Assist with complex orders to ensure accurate processing and documentation * Trade Counter: When required, support the branch customer service team with incoming calls, trade counter service and technical product advice   What You Bring * Inside Sales or account support experience within a technology or wholesale distribution environment (highly regarded) * Exposure and understanding of electronic security solutions (preferred) * Strong phone and F2F communication skills with confidence to sell and influence outcomes * Technical aptitude with the ability to discuss products and solutions * Excellent administration and organisational skills * Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, further product knowledge, and develop * Comfortable using Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems * Ability to build customer relationships and work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment   What We Offer * Competitive salary package and commission plan * Career stability and growth within a leading global distributor * Supportive team environment with regular onsite initiatives * Opportunities to embed yourself in an exciting, fast‑evolving industry * Employee Assistance and Referral Programs * Strong learning, development, and career progression opportunities   About Wesco Anixter We build, connect, power, and protect the world.
