The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for sales order entry, order management, and providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between customers, the sales team, and internal departments to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. Beyond processing orders, you will play an active role in building lasting customer relationships, addressing inquiries, and identifying opportunities to support client needs with Econolite’s full range of solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferable
  • 4-7 years in a sales support or inside sales role
  • Ability to multi-task and apply sound judgment to establish priorities
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Computer literate; moderate skills working with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with CRM system, such as Salesforce.com or Microsoft Dynamics preferred

Responsibilities
  • Serves as the first line of Econolite’s demand generation resources, initial touch point for customer inquiries, and advises customers of any changes to an order
  • Manages the order life cycle for assigned Account Manager’s or Territory’s customers
  • Fulfill orders for replacement and commodity products
  • Maintains record of all relevant touchpoints with customers in Econolite’s CRM
  • Assists or contacts any departments such as Accounting, Planning, Shipping and Engineering with requests pertaining to Sales Orders for information needed to satisfy customers and contractors requests
  • Researchers claim orders for applicability of warranty coverage
  • Prepares and submits RMA’s (Return Material Authorizations), RA’s (Repair Authorizations) and any approved credits.
  • Exercises judgment in determination of amount and applicability of credit
  • Provide training to other members of the Inside Sales organization as needed
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned
  • Use available data reporting tools to monitor key business data such as estimated ship date changes, bookings anomalies, customer order information, and historical data lookup.
