Description

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 40-50 hours
SALARY: $60,000 - $65,000/year
LOCATION: This position may be worked 100% remotely from most anywhere in the USA but must work central time zone hours.
Qualified candidates must have experience in the freight forwarding, transportation, logistics, OR supply chain industry
We’re currently seeking a dynamic individual who is driven to succeed, loves developing relationships with clients and has a strong work ethic to join us in the role of Inside Sales Specialist. This individual will play an integral role in supporting our sales team and the continuous growth of OL-USA

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Sales support experience within a freight forwarder, transportation, logistics, OR supply chain industry
  • Develops rapport with clients and is easily able to build relationships to develop new sales opportunities
  • Very strong organizational skills and ability to manage high volume emails
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle complex customer interactions via telephone and video conferencing
  • An active listener with the ability to understand and interpret customer needs
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to negotiate with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented focus
  • Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities
  • Create quotes and sales proposals; collaborate with the team on pricing decisions, supplier selection and timing
  • Nurture accounts to retain existing relationships and to grow share of business
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accounts are properly maintained
  • Coordinate and work in concert with other departments on RFP, RFI and RFQ’s, quote and price opportunities, and develop solutions to secure business
  • Translate business opportunities into incremental revenue through strong selling; succeed at heavy price and service negotiations with customers and carriers
  • Accurately maintain and update information in the company’s System
  • Manage, track, and report sales activities and results
