Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales)
  • Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Sales in electrical industry.
  • Experience working with contractors & channel partners
  • Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer need
  • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools
  • Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skill
Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining productive working relationships with assigned channel partners, at all levels of their organization.
While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located in the Charlotte, NC metro area.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the Southeast United States.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Create and manage SPA’s for strategic partners and end users
  • Develop trust with customers to be the first escalation point when they need assistance.
  • Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor ABB. This includes introducing new products to existing customer base and identify target customers
  • Develop cost effective and creative proposals based on drawings and specifications; provide value engineering suggestions; provide full packages to differentiate from competition
  • Understand market pricing and utilize to successfully close opportunities. Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership
  • Track sales leads, wins and losses in Customer Response Management (CRM) system; perform analysis on hit-rate data
  • Create customer marketing programs New Product Introduction (NPI) launch, training to promote ABB products and services
